Christmas Boutique & Raffle - Dec. 9, 2007 - During the Elks Christmas Charity Party

The bazaar will be in the Coral Room and the Blue Room this year so we will have more room.

We hope to sell homemade goodies, fudge & other candies, breads, pies, cakes, cookies, jams, jellies, shelled walnuts, etc. Plus craft items, Christmas arrangements, nice stuffed animals, books in good condition, Holiday towels, tablecloths, and others are wonderful, Christmas decorations, jewelry, gift items, stuffed animals, nick knacks, etc.

Bring boutique items to the Coral/Blue room on Dec. 9 at 9:00 a.m. Or if you need to bring them in before that date, leave them at the Elks Lodge office with a note that they are for the Emblem Christmas Boutique.

We will also hold a Christmas Boutique Raffle again this year. Tickets will be $1.00 ea. or 6 for $5.00

Drawing to be at 2:00 p.m. on Dec. 9^th. You do not need to be present to win.

BOUTIQUE - Nov. 30, Dec. 1 & 2 at the Elks Lodge - Do you have nicer clothes that you are tired of? Jewelry that you no longer wear, sweaters, dressy attire, nice coats, purses, formal attire? The boutique will be to sell nicer clothing, etc.

Go through your closets, drawers, etc. and bring your things you want to sell to the Elks Lodge on Thurs., Nov. 29, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Be sure to make a list of all the items you bring in and how much you want to sell each item for. Give one list to the Emblem Club and keep one for yourself.. A percentage of the money you receive will go to the club and a percentage to you. You will be asked to fill out a contract to let us know if you want your unsold items returned to you or given to another charitable organization. Also what percentage of the money you want to go to the Emblem Club.

The Boutique will be advertised in the newspaper and other media so we will have the public coming in to buy our things.

Check out the nice things while you are at the lodge. You may find just the perfect thing for you.

This is a great Italian meal cooked by our own Julia Bortoletto and her crew.

MENU:

Two Types of Pasta, Two Types of Sauce, Meat Balls, Mixed Green Salad, Garlic Bread, Dessert & Coffee

Plan to come and bring your family and friends. You don’t want to miss out on this delicious dinner and fun evening.

ALL TICKETS ARE PRE-SALE TICKETS ONLY AND WILL NOT BE SOLD AT THE DOOR.

We must have a count of how many will be there to give Julia, so she will know how much food to prepare.

THE DEADLINE FOR TICKET SALES IS  NOV. 1, 2007 AT 5:00 P.M.

We will need auction items for after the dinner. If you have anything to donate for this event

Homemade jams, jelly, cakes, pies, candy are always good. If you have a craft item or a gift you would like to donate, just bring it to the dinner.

This has always been a fun part of the evening and also helps us raise money for our school scholarships.

ANNUAL RUMMAGE SALE: Wednesday October. 3rd through Friday October 5th, 2007, 9:00 AM to 5.00 PM

Donations will be accepted prior to the sale 9 AM. to 5 PM. on Monday October 1st. & Tuesday October 2nd

Please bring donations to the East gate at the Elks Lodge, next to the R.V. parking area.

IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM KEEPING YOUR DONATIONS UNTIL THE SALE, PLEASE DO NOT DISPOSE OF THEM.

WE HAVE A STORAGE UNIT THAT HAS BEEN DONATED FOR EMBLEM TO USE FOR THE SALE. CALL ONE OF US IF YOU NEED TO STORE YOUR ITEMS.
